Since I’m working remotely at Automattic (we’re hiring!), I rarely get a chance to meet my colleagues in person. Nevertheless, once a year we have a team meetup and we choose a different location each time. This year, it’s Helsinki!
During the meetup, we do our regular job, we work on different projects, and we also do fun activities together. In Helsinki, we tried indoor flying! It was a fantastic experience. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing heh 🙂
The first time I tried a vegan Caesar salad. It was quite nice! I tried it at Onda, a vegan restaurant in Helsinki.
I’m not exactly 100% sure who said this and what’s the original version of it, but in years, I paraphrased it a bit, and it became one of my favorite quotes.
