The call for sponsors for the largest WordPress event in 2018 is out!
Tag: WordCamp Europe
I was always intrigued and amazed how an event like WordCamp Europe gets so well organized and prepared. And every time, there were always lots of volunteers to help all the attendees and make them feel at home. I wanted to experience this from the other side and together with my wife, I joined the volunteers’ crew this year at WordCamp Europe in Vienna. It was a blast and I also had the honor to be a speaker!
After the event, I wanted to experience one more piece of WordCamp Europe that I haven’t had a chance to be a part of. So I applied to be a part of the organizing team for WordCamp Europe 2017 in Paris. And I am so happy to say that I’m a part of the volunteers’ organizing team lead by Luca!
The call for volunteers is already out for a couple of weeks! If you’d like to experience first hand what it means to be a part of an event like WordCamp Europe, if you like helping people, and if you love WordPress and its great community, then you should definitely apply to become a WordCamp Europe 2017 volunteer. Find out more about what being a volunteer is all about here.
Looking forward to making WordCamp Europe 2017 in Paris the best one yet. Together!
While we were in Vienna attending WordCamp Europe 2016, my wife and I took the opportunity to visit the famous Stadtpark. The whole park is amazing – it’s like an oasis inside the city.
There’s also a small lake where you can sit and watch the Vienna’s wildlife. My wife managed to take a couple of photos which show how amazing this area is.
As I mentioned in one of my previous posts, I recently had an amazing opportunity to speak at WordCamp Europe in Vienna about The Science of Happiness.
And the video has already been published a few days ago on WordPress.tv! I’m adding the video and the photos that the attendees of the talk posted on Twitter. Thank you, folks! Cheers 🍷
Purple Dragon Figurine
In Vienna, I found this purple dragon. Since I collect dragon figurines (I have quite a collection now), I brought this one to Belgrade!
I also had a chance to get a couple of stickers from the WordCamp Europe booths. Just a couple of stickers 😉
