How to Sound Smart in Your Talk

In the last 2 years, I held a dozen presentations on the subject of WordPress, Customer Happiness and leadership. The presentations I am most proud of are the ones I held in Prague and Krakow! 🙂

In any case, when you are speaking in front of a large group of people, you’d like to sound smart, to teach people something you consider yourself to be an expert of and you’d like them to have fun during your talk. The following video will show a completely different perspective on talks. Have fun! 😀

Why I Love TED Talks

I love them because they are awesome! Watching a TED talk can either educate you, inspire you or boost your creative thinking and quite often it does all of that at the same time! As their website states, TED is all about the ideas worth spreading, no doubt there.

My favorite TED talk is called The electric rise and fall of Nikola Tesla,  it is performed by Marco Tempest and you can watch the full video and get stunned by its awesomeness right here:

One other very interesting fact about TED is how many people get involved with the whole idea and how they contribute. TED talks get translated to different languages thanks to the community that supports TED and this is an ongoing process which found its place in almost every country in the world. These two translations to Serbian are my small contribution to the whole idea (I added them while I was working as a Head of Customer Happiness team at ManageWP):

Please, please, people. Let’s put the ‘awe’ back in ‘awesome’
