When I joined Automattic in 2016, there were a total of ~450 Automatticians. Today three and a half years later, there are ~950!
It took me a while before I found myself in the annual Grand Meetup photo – I forgot where I was standing 🙂

I am one of the lucky folks who work for Automattic – a remote company whose mission is to make the web a better place. Once a year, all of Automatticians meet at one place to work together on various projects and spend time together. In 2016 and 2017, the Grand Meetup, as we call it, happened in beautiful Whistler in Canada. This year, it was in Orlando.

Once a year, all the Automatticians gather in one place for a week. It’s a week when I have a chance to meet my colleagues in person and we call it the Grand Meetup! This year, its location – Whistler, Canada.
Impressions
It was great, it was fun, it was incredible! With 460 Automatticians at one place, it’s almost impossible to meet everyone! However, everyone I met and spoke with was super friendly and I am proud to be a part of a company that has such great people.
