I’ve always been a gamer. And I always will be! I remember sitting all night at my desktop and playing various games until I couldn’t keep my eyes open anymore.
Today, it’s a bit different. There is so much to study (especially when it comes to WordPress and Customer Happiness subjects) and a lot of work to be done and I rarely have the opportunity to pull an all-nighter in front of the computer. However, it relaxes me to play a computer game from time to time and I wanted to share the top three games I ever played!
 Diablo – a masterpiece from Blizzard Entertainment, an awesome game which will last forever (or until Diablo 4 comes out). Great storyline, lots of hack-and-slash-ing to be done and endless fun 🙂
Sacrifice – one of the best games ever created. You take control of a banished wizard and you arrive into a new world which is controlled by 5 gods. Depending on which god you choose to serve, you gain different abilities – spells and summons. A completely unique game, still ahead of its time.
Rune – my favorite game of all times. I lost count of how many times I played it – after the 68th beating of the last boss, I stopped tracking! You play Ragnar, a Viking just promoted to guard the runestones of his village. The village gets attacked and your character dies. Odin brings you back to life so that you can stop Ragnarok (the end of the world).  Incredible game.

One of the perks of working in the IT industry is that you can work from any place you wish, and that’s awesome! Automattic (the company behind WordPress.com, Akismet, Jetpack and many other fantastic products) has employees in 36 countries around the world and if you take a look at their offices, you’ll notice how different they are compared to what the rest of the working world has 🙂
However, sometimes having an office desk gives a certain amount of quality and character to your work life. Somebody will disagree with me here but I believe that if you can properly balance between your work and free time, you will enjoy your workspace wherever it is. Like I enjoy mine! 🙂
