I am one of the lucky folks who work for Automattic – a remote company whose mission is to make the web a better place. Once a year, all of Automatticians meet at one place to work together on various projects and spend time together. In 2016 and 2017, the Grand Meetup, as we call it, happened in beautiful Whistler in Canada. This year, it was in Orlando.
During the Grand Meetup week this year, many things happened – lots of customer support tickets were answered, many lines of code were written, lots of food was eaten, chats took place, friendships were formed. As a cherry on top, one evening buses took us to Diagon Alley and the world of Harry Potter. It was a truly amazing experience! I even got to play with fire!
And for the last evening of the Grand Meetup, we went to Epcot which is absolutely amazing. To end the meetup with a bang, we watched the Illuminations: Reflections of Earth. It was absolutely and completely fantastic and incredible experience. Thank you, Automattic! 🙇🏻♂️
