This is my very first post which I’m writing by using only my cellphone. I was always a bit reluctant to try publishing from a cellphone but I finally gave it a shot. I’m using the WordPress Android app created by Automattic. The app can be found on Play Store and you can also check out this link for more info on currently available WordPress mobile applications.
It’s probably gonna take some time before I get used to writing and publishing this way. However, I must admit I like it so far 😀 Let’s see if my opinion changes after writing a dozen more posts this way. Challenge accepted!

I use mobile app mostly for photo blogging for which I don’t have to write much. For my main blog, I use the app to writes smaller twitter-like statuses rather than long posts.
The other cool thing about the app is the Reader tab.

Indeed, photo blogging and shorter articles make the most sense for using the mobile app. Another thing for which I like it now is the comments 😁 I’ll try using the app as much as possible for the next couple of months in order to find the right balance between desktop and mobile blogging.
Plus, the Reader is really awesome and I think I’ll use it more now because I’m viewing it from the app 😎
I struggle with some of the things that the app lacks (Publicize settings namely), so I often end up using wp-admin from my phone. All in all, it is a pretty good experience. I’ve used Press This on my phone quite a bit too.
I really like commenting and moderation in the app though.
Thanks, Kraft! I hope the app gets the Publicize feature added in the future, that would be great! I never used Press This, though. I am late to the mobile blogging party a bit 😀
